+Is trysandbox.io free to use?
Yes. Every generator on the site is completely free, with no account, no trial and no usage limit. The site is funded by advertising.
+Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no signup, no login and no email required. Open a tool and use it immediately.
+Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. All tools run locally in your browser using JavaScript. Text, passwords, images and files you enter never leave your device.
+Are the generated passwords secure?
Passwords, API keys and PINs are generated with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues). Nothing is logged or transmitted.
+Can I use the generated output commercially?
Yes. QR codes, barcodes, CSS snippets, config files and other output you generate are yours to use in personal and commercial projects.
+Do the QR codes expire?
Never. QR codes are generated as static images that encode your content directly — there is no redirect service behind them, so they keep working forever.
+Can I use the tools offline?
Mostly yes. Once a page has loaded, the generators keep working without a connection because the logic runs in your browser.
+Is the fake data real?
No. Fake names, addresses, profiles and test card numbers are randomly generated for software testing only. They must never be used for real transactions or to impersonate anyone.
+How can I request a new tool?
Email hello@trysandbox.io with what the tool should do and an example of the expected output. Small, single-purpose generators get added fastest.
+How many tools are available?
There are currently 139 tools across generators, security, developer, design and text categories, and the list keeps growing.
